Injustice Origin

Characters

Concept:

The story of Owen Frazer is the story of each and every one of us at some point in our lives. When the world doesn't do you justice, when everything feels wrong and out of place when you're forced to do things you never agreed to...

All this are the feelings serving as a base for this story.

The notion of injustice is the common denominator for all this.

I wanted to tell a story where the villains are the protagonists, they are the heroes of this story. The purpose of this is to remind everybody that there are several sides to one story, and we should always question what we consider as normal because it might just not be.

I drew inspiration from Xmen along with Despicable Me and the Incredibles.

The council of bad guys that is the Zeta Order is very similar to the Xmen in their organization. And as it is the case in both groups, in the end, it's always about trying to fit in somewhere in particular when you should simply find the correct place to fit.

Story

Story

Owen Frazer recently got into street robot fight. They’re quite illegal but he tends to be lucky when it comes to the police, and the same goes for the fights for that matter. Even the way he found his robot shows how lucky he can be. It’s a shame to see what he’ll become.

The new mayor of New York and former official superhero, Oliver Banks, made those fights illegal. Oliver agreed with the organizers of those fights; they would have the right to set up one last meeting and then it would have to end. The big night was Owen’s time to shine; he defeated all his opponent but one: "Incredible". Unable to cope with this underachievement; Owen would spend a month with robot fight enthusiast planning his revenge against Incredible. When the time finally arrived, he was once again defeated and sent to what he thought was jail.

He was brought to a facility where he was interrogated about the last events. The man and woman interrogating him turned out to be his recruiter for a very particular place for him to study and enhance his skills: The Zeta Order.

This group was founded after the Cuba missiles crisis, they claim to be an independent state; like a pirate society with fair rules and no governments to rule them. They created the Zeta Academy with the hope that they could take a hold of the world by force by exploiting people with particular abilities. The media refers to them as the villain land since most of its members previously had an altercation with some heroes. The governments have legally nothing on them and they never really caused any trouble since they more or less gave up their world domination plans; now they’re more of a supervillain shelter.

Characters

Characters

Owen "99" Frazer

The best badguy in town

Owen Frazer is your casual outcast. He started all this by getting involved in robot fights. His passion for the sport led him to much police related trouble. He had to go under the radar to get revenge from the one that kept him from being the one who defeated the 100 contestants. Now, understanding his mistakes, he wears this badge of honor as a surname.

A Luck Charm was passed to him by his mentor when he stopped robot fights, it grants him an immense luck in everything he does.

Julie Evans

And she doesn't even needs to turn green

Julie is the daughter of a well-known enemy of the first Golden Gang. She is what we could call brutal. Nothing superhuman, but she's just violent and not that good with feelings.

Sam Gellert

Don't look in her eyes

Sam is a year above Owen and Julie, but they're in the same club and Owen has a massive crush on her.

She's majoring in psychology, but psychology in Zeta College means mystic/tribal mind magic. She isn't a magician, but she works using masks and totem. She even managed to enchant her glasses so that people who try to see her eyes through them end up under her control.
