Tala is a young woman who grows up in the sewers (under-city) living a hard life. Samson, her father's friend, has raised to find ways to live by herself. She can be somewhat vulgar when she wants but her attitude has for the most part been shaped up by living at the edge of society. She has some rather unusual skills: She's able to fix old electronics and other random items that make their way into the under-city. Because of this, she's pretty handy with computers (which is a rare thing if you weren't trained to do that). She wanted to gather food for the starving people but, when making a raid in the upper-city, things got out of hand and she got Samson killed, and get bitten by the werewolf.
